General Information

  • To keep you informed of upcoming events, our bi-monthly newsletter, To The Pointe, will be e-mailed to you, posted on our website, and available at the studio.
  • Weather-related closings will be announced by e-mail, posted on the website, and posted to our social media channels. We cancel for snow based on weather conditions near the studio not on school districts' decisions to close. 
  • Refer to our calendar for all holiday and studio closings. 
  • Parent observation weeks for non- competition students are held twice during the year.
  • There is a lost and found area located in the back lobby.

Pricing

For specific monthly class pricing information we ask that you please call, e-mail or stop in to the studio.

Financial Information

  • Yearly tuition is payable in 10 installments due at the beginning of each month. There is a late fee for payments received after the 5th of the month. 
  • 5% discount for tuition paid in full by Sept. 30th.
  • 10% sibling discount on tuition for each additional family member.
  • Overdue accounts may result in student being unable to participate in classes until account is up to date. 
  • We accept cash, credit cards and checks for payments. $25 fee on all returned checks.
  • No refunds given for any classes missed (including snow days). 
  • If a student leaves the program mid-year, we will discontinue charging tuition from the point at which we are notified.
  • Fund-raising opportunities available in the fall to help defray cost of costumes and tuition.

Recital Information

  • All students participating in the recital must pay recital fee and costume fee.
  • Students' costume costs are estimated at: 

  1. 5yrs & under, $55-$75
  2. 6-8yrs old, $75-$95
  3.  8-12 yrs old, $95-$100. 

(Teen and competition costumes may cost more)

  • No returns or refunds for costumes. We can recommend a seamstress, if needed, for an additional fee. If you have a preference for the size costume we will be ordering for your child, please speak to the instructor in November.
  • We order all costumes by December 1st. Anyone leaving the program after costumes have been ordered will be responsible for the full cost of the costumes.
  • You may choose to have your child's picture taken in costume, at the studio. We have a professional photographer come one weekend in the spring to photograph all students and classes.
  • Our recital is in June at a local venue. Specific date and location to be announced late winter.

Competitive Program Information

  • Entry into competitive program is by teacher invitation and audition only. 
  • Competition and workshop dates will be announced at our competition parent meeting in December. All competition students must attend at least one workshop. Attendance is mandatory for all competitions and workshop requirements are strictly enforced.
  • Ballet classes, Technique ballet class and/or Performance Ballet class and summer classes are mandatory for all competition students. 
  • Competitive team students who wish to take a private lesson may submit a request when registering for the dance season. We cannot promise to honor all requests. Private lessons and optionals begin in October. 
  • We give make-ups for private lessons when we receive advance notification of the absence.
  • Staff reserves the right to approve all private routines for competition.

Dress Code

Non-Competitive Program:

Any appropriate dance attire with proper shoes. Please see the Downloads section below for the non-comp required shoe list.


Competitive Program

Girls: Any solid dark-colored leotard with pink or tan tights. Dance shorts over leotard is acceptable. 

Boys: Black dance pants or sweat pants with form-fitting shirt. Proper dance shoes required.

You do not need shoes for the first few of weeks of classes as teachers have different requirements. 

All students are required to have hair up and secured away from the face. Please, do not wear any jean shorts or large-sized t-shirts to class.
